Communist Slavery

Among the many threads of Babylon's rise in this world is something we might recognize as communism. Consider this: If everything is owned by the government, then the only employer is the government, and the entire economy is directly controlled by the government. That's communism.

It's also slavery. We won't necessarily have the sort of communism where holdouts are simply slaughtered outright. More than likely there will be no means to exchange except by government owned and tracked exchange of electronic credits. The only other option is direct barter. There will be strict controls making it possible to more-or-less keep track of just about everything anyone bought legally, so those who have stuff not on the registry have it illegally by definition. So if you won't work as the government directs, you aren't allowed to own much of anything. So barter will be quite risky, though I can't imagine how government can be competent enough to really pull it all off. Still, this is at least one of the many threads of the coming tribulation.

Part of this is the planned economic collapse currently taking place. As things fail, the government will continue directing more fictitious dollars into "bailing out" businesses it wants to keep alive and own, and letting the others enter bankruptcy. The bailouts come with strings, and not letting any healthy banks opt out is part of the plan. It is the engines of finance the government seeks to own, though by rights, it will more likely be the Federal Reserve Bank which owns them. Or perhaps some other entity will purchase the debt. The point is, having all these government treasury bonds out there will create a debt any entity can purchase, thus gaining a facsimile of legal control over the entire nation, at least in terms of legal assets.

That includes you and I. Our future productivity has been mortgaged to purchase this "bail out." We, the nation's taxpayers, will owe the debt which balloons beyond measure, beyond imagination. We will be on the hook, holders of the repayment responsibility. Naturally, even under full employment, cranking out everything we possibly could, the debt would require several years at a minimum to repay. That's if we don't eat or consume anything at all -- obviously not possible. Our ruling regime is creating a situation where slavery is the inevitable outcome.

Let's assume the brightest, rosiest outcome, and pretend someone, or several of them, rise up to lead us in armed repudiation of that debt. Who holds the debt instruments? China and Russia to name two. They are not close allies or friends. With all we possess, we could not prevail against both if they came to collect. We might make it expensive, but if we hurt them badly enough by leaving them financially damaged, it may not matter. Go ahead and carry out that scenario in your own imagination.

The point is, if we let this come upon us unawares, we will find ourselves compromised before we can begin to pray for direction. Pray now.
